Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Unicorner (unicornergame.lol), a football trivia game, and the optional paid Infinity mode subscription. By playing or subscribing you agree to them. Questions: email joseasalasnl@gmail.com.

The game

• The daily game, duels, rankings and leagues are free. You can play the daily game without an account.
• Questions and answer lists are written with care, but football facts are messy: if you think an answer is missing or wrong, use “Problem with a question” in the footer and we will look at it. Scores already played are not recalculated unless we say so.
• We may change, add or remove features, questions and rules to keep the game fair and fun.

Accounts, nicknames and fair play

• You need an account (email sign-in or Google) for rankings, leagues, duels between accounts and Infinity mode. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Nicknames must not be offensive, impersonate someone, or contain personal contact details. We may change or remove a nickname that breaks this.
• Do not cheat, automate play, look for ways around the game's limits, or interfere with the service. We may remove scores, reset rankings or close accounts that do.

Infinity mode subscription

• What you get: unlimited questions from past daily games, batch reports and strength statistics, the Infinity kit for your unicorn and the ∞ badge on the rankings, for as long as your subscription is active. The free daily game stays free.
• Seller: payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies, sends your receipt and lets you manage your subscription. Its own terms apply to the purchase.
• Price and renewal: €2.99 a month (the final price, including any tax for your country, is shown at checkout). The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel.
• Cancelling: cancel any time from the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email or at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders. You keep Infinity mode until the end of the month you have paid for; there is no charge after that.
• Price changes: if the price changes, we will tell you before your next renewal and you can cancel before it applies.

Refunds

• If you are not happy with Infinity mode, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that first payment in full.
• After that, payments are not refunded for partial months, but you can cancel at any time to stop future payments.
• If Infinity mode is unavailable for a significant time because of a problem on our side, email us and we will refund or extend your subscription fairly.
• Refunds are paid back through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. This does not affect any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Ending or changing Infinity mode

If we ever stop offering Infinity mode, we will cancel future payments and refund any unused part of a month you have already paid for.

Liability

Unicorner is a game provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the latest version is always linked from the game footer, and important changes for subscribers will be announced before they apply. These terms are governed by Dutch law, without taking away the protection of the consumer law of the country you live in.
